The purpose of this
organization is to educate the student population of Oneonta
State College concerning lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender
issues and events. We propose to achieve this goal through
workshops, films, reading materials, and discussion groups. WE
feel the need for a better understanding of
homosexuality-because of the archaic misconceptions that
prevail. It is imperative to inform the non-gay community and
facilitate a greater understanding of their gay peers. The most
effective approach to enlightening the consciousness of each and
every individual on homosexuality is to educate on the lifestyle
of gay people. |
