Students Changing Lives to Meet the Challenges of the 21st Century

The Diversity Peer Education Program (DPEP) provides an opportunity to educate students who can take up advocacy roles on diversity, multiculturalism, social justice, and related goals/values on the SUNY Oneonta campus and in the surrounding community. Students are be trained to become Diversity Peer Educators. “Diversity at the College is an inclusive value that encompasses race and ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, sexual identity and gender expression, age, ability, socioeconomic status, and other aspects of identity.”

MULTICULTURAL STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE (mslc)

The MSLC is a student-centered and student-led initiative.

MSLC provides opportunity for conference participants to interact with peers and guest presenters and acquire skills/tools to be effective multicultural leaders both on campus and in the surrounding communities.
