The SA Senate is the legislative branch
of the Student Association. As such, they meet to discuss topics of
vital interest to the students at SUNY Oneonta, to serve as the voice
of the students, and to oversee the financial interests of the Student
Association.
The Senate meets Tuesday at 6:30 PM in The Waterfront of the Hunt College
Union. All are welcome. The Senate operates under Roberts
Rules of Order.

My name is Manny Alban and I am a sophomore studying Music Industry. I joined senate because I wanted to help make a positive difference in SUNY Oneonta, and with all the work and activities that SA takes part in, I know that it was the perfect opportunity! Along with senate, I am also a brother of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and serve as a DJ. |

Hi! My name is Claire Connolly. I am a junior elementary education major with a concentration in math. I joined senate because I have always been involved with school government and I have always seen myself as a leader. I wanted to make a difference here on Oneonta's campus and what better way to do that then join senate! something interesting about myself is that I am in the sorority Sigma Gamma Phi and my favorite TV show is How I Met Your Mother. |

Hey! My name is Ben Coyle, I am a sophmore at SUCO. I am studying Biology with a minor in Documentary Studies. I joined senate to get more involved on campus. Also, at the time, one of my brothers in Phi Kappa Psi was serving as President which I thought was so cool! My name is Jonathan Fermin and I am a sophomore here at SUNY Oneonta. I am a Human Biology Major because I want to become a Physical Therapist after I graduate. I joined Senate because I love to help people and getting involved on campus is fun and a great experience. I joined Senate with the personally-held belief that I am presented with both the privilege and the responsibility of participating in the betterment of our campus community. To not offer myself as a public servant in the Senate would be to perform a disgrace to our community which has endowed me with so many opportunities.
