Getting Involved

There are a variety of ways for any student to become involved in the Student Association. The best way to get involved would be to run for a seat on the Student Senate. Senators help shape club policy, work with the administration to better campus life, and have an open forum to express all of their constituents' ideas. The Senate is comprised of students from many other clubs and organizations on campus, and being apart of the Senate is an opportunity to feel the "Pulse" of the campus and have a great knowledge of many things that are going on. If you are interested in running, please explore our Elections section.

Senate business relies heavily on information obtained from committees. Even if you do not want to run for a position, any student can be appointed to a committee that interests them. If you have a specific issue that interests you, you could join that committee and share your input.

The biggest part of the SA is not just business, it is the student clubs and organizations. The SA offers over 100 clubs in areas such as Awareness and Activism, Cultural and Spiritual, Curriculum Based, Student Media, Performance Organizations, and Recreation/General Interest. A full list of clubs can be accessed by clicking here. Once all the clubs start meeting regularly we will have a list of their meeting times for those interested in joining one.

There are many ways to have your voice be heard, and we want to help. Please contact us at any time!
