Please review the general duties and expectations of the Student Building Manager

Hunt College Union is hiring student building managers for fall 2015.  Successful candidates have a desire to make  significant contributions  to community building in the college union and simultaneously develop their talents and skills.  We desire dependable, enthusiastic, motivated, and responsible persons with strong customer service and excellent time management skills who want to be challenged.  A 2.5 cumulative GPA is required.   For proper consideration please be sure to submit all completed materials including application, resume, and cover letter by 4:30pm Friday March 13, 2015 to Robb Thibault, Hunt Union Director Room 220C or by email .    Incomplete applications will not be accepted.   Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled.  Training for new Student Managers begins in April.  All managers must return for fall employee orientation on Monday August 24, 2015.

In your cover letter you must address all of the following:

Describe your leadership style.

Explain how your skills and experiences will help you perform the general duties required.

Describe what a college union is and why it’s important to you?

Please highlight what you feel the Hunt College Union does well and what can be improved.

Describe your involvement with extra-curricular activities and how much time you spend each week in student clubs and organizations.

Discuss your philosophy of customer service.

Training for new Student Managers begins in April. All managers must return for fall orientation on Monday August 18, 2014.
