All SUNY Oneonta students will be required to have health insurance coverage starting in Fall 2014. The cost for the annual health insurance coverage will appear automatically on your fall tuition bill. If you have health insurance coverage already and do not wish to purchase coverage through the college, you must follow the directions on your bill to complete the waiver process. You will need to supply the name and phone number of your insurance company, your insurance ID number, the name of the policy holder, and your relationship to the policy holder in order for this charge to be removed from your tuition bill. The waiver must be completed by September 24, 2014 or you will automatically be enrolled in the health insurance plan. Waivers will not be accepted after this date. (Students who attend for the spring term only will be billed at the spring-only rate with a 30-day waiver period.)

SUNY Oneonta is offering excellent health insurance coverage, including a dental plan, at an extremely competitive rate. SUNY Oneonta contracts with Capitol District Physician's Health Plan to offer conprehensive coverage at an extremely competitive price.
