Every semester, New Student Services collaborates with offices on campus to provide stellar programs and events for transfer students. Some of these traditions are Join the Club, Transfers Take the LEAD, and the Transfer Committee. You can find more information about each tradition below.
An important aspect of our campus is the opportunity for students to develop their leadership potential. Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) credit is available to all students and all you have to do is attend programs and events.
The New Student Services Office invites members of the campus to discuss their resources and how they will specifically help transfer students through a series of programs called Transfers Take the LEAD. Not only will transfers learn more about what resources are available to them, but they will also gain valuable LEAD credit. Some topics in the past included: Internships, Alumni Engagement, Credit Transfer Process, and many more!
Transfer students can count their involvement in clubs/organizations as well as previous even attendance at their prior institution(s) towards LEAD@Oneonta credit. Email Lead@oneonta.edu to learn more.
Stay tuned for the list of events next for semester!
