ALUMNI STEERING COMMITTEE

General Duties & Responsibilities

Note: All duties, responsibilities and activities will be in consultation with the College at Oneonta Office of Alumni Affairs and the EOP Department as represented by the EOP Alumni Coordinator and the EOP Director.

• Establishes Network short- and long-term goals

• Recruits more active members from all EOP graduates

• Seeks external financial support

 Chairperson

• Provides sustained leadership

• Executes actions of Network

• Speaks on behalf of the Network

• Acts as liaison with the EOP Department and College at Oneonta

 

Steering Committee Membership

• Supports the leadership of the Chairperson

• Acts in place of the Chairperson when s/he is unavailable

• Other duties as requested by the Chairperson

• Plans and implements off-campus Network events in collaboration with the Office of Alumni Affairs

• Collaborates with the Office of Alumni Affairs concerning Alumni Association events

• Organizes fundraising activities in cooperation with the College Advancement
