Who We Are

The Bugbee Children’s Center Summer Day Camp program is an on-site recreation program offered to those children who have completed Kindergarten through the sixth grade.  The Center is licensed through the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
Parents may schedule children between 7:30 and 5:30pm but we ask that the children be in attendance between 9am and 3:30 to fully participate in our program. Numerous outdoor activities and field trips will take place in addition to indoor and quiet activities.  The program utilizes on-site facilities as well as a number of campus and community resources.

Applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis.  We have a maximum number of 40 slots.  A t-shirt will be provided on the first day.  Prior to your child’s attendance an enrollment agreement must be signed as well as other intake forms or be on file from the child’s previous attendance during the school year.

There is a $15 application fee to enroll in the summer program. A 10% discount is available for siblings, as well as a 15% discount for pre-payment. Checks should be made payable to the Bugbee Children’s Center

Throughout the school year we also offer a school's out program based on the Oneonta School District closings for children in Kindergarten through Grade 6. Applications have been distributed for the remainder of the school year but if you are looking for care give us a call to see if we have any spots available.
