	On-Campus Employers
	Student employees play a vital role in the operation of day to day activities here at SUNY Oneonta. Last year nearly 1,500 students were employed on campus. A majority of these students were hired through the Federal Work-Study Program or through Temp Service. Each on campus department benefits from student employees. The College recognizes that supervising student employees is a major task and time commitment. The Supervisor’s Guide to Student Employment was developed to assist supervisors with hiring and supervising student workers. On-Campus employers are strongly encouraged to post part-time opportunities through Student Employment Services. Please complete and submit a Student Employment Service Form and return it to the Career Development Center. All positions are posted within twenty-four hours for students to view through DragonLink. SAVE THE DATE: Student Employee Appreciation Day 2013: April 10, 2013 A day to honor student employees for all of their hard work and dedication. Note: Departmental funding is not to be used for purchasing student gifts. For low cost celebratory ideas please contact the Career Development Center.
