Narrow career options through exploration. Develop short and long range career goals. Select academic program: Majors/Minors/Concentrations. Take Survey of Career Fields course (PROF 100) Explore possibilities for internships, independent study, volunteer work and career-related employment. Check progress with career counselors, faculty advisors and parents. Take the College Writing Exam. Develop assertiveness interpersonal skills, initiative and other career-related skills. Begin networking and making contacts. Decide if you want/need to go to graduate school immediately after your Bachelor's program. |
