Follow Us! Events: Summer Opportunities Fair: Wednesday, February 22, 1:00-4:00pm in the Hunt Union Ballroom. This event provides a venue to learn about potential jobs and internships, career paths and organizations, and to network with employers. Student registration is not required. However, it is encouraged that students submit professional documents to CDC Staff for review prior to the event. Professional attire is recommended. Central New York Teacher Recruitment Days (TRD): Monday, March 26th and Tuesday, March 27th at SUNY Cortland. This event is open to SUNY Oneonta education majors who have graduated in December 2011, or who will graduate in May or August 2012. School districts from across the nation will be recruiting to fill vacant positions. While this is a great opportunity to find teaching positions; due to the downturn in teacher hiring we are expecting a significantly lower amount of recruiters to be in attendance.
