SUNY Oneonta's Job, Internship & Volunteer Expo (JIVE) is an annual event that typically occurs mid-Spring semester.
This event provides a venue to learn about employment, internship, volunteer, and research opportunities, within New York State and to network with organization representatives.
Students are encouraged to submit professional documents to CDC staff for review prior to the event. Professional attire is recommended.
RECRUITER REGISTRATION: To be announced
Regular registration typically is available 1-2 months before the event.
For-Profit Organizations: $50.00 initial recruiter; $20.00 for each additional recruiter.
Non-Profit and Government Organizations: Initial Recruiter fee waived, $20.00 for each additional recruiter.
Registration includes a six foot table with two chairs, and Starbucks voucher.
The deadline to register for JIVE will be announced soon. Cancellations received after stated deadline are not be eligible for a refund. There will be a $10 cancellation fee for any cancellations received prior to the registration deadline. We will accept substitutions at any time with no additional penalty. If you need to cancel a registration or request that changes be made to your registration, please email your request to email@example.com.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:
If weather conditions are such that classes are canceled, JIVE will automatically be canceled as part of the larger institutional decision. Registered organizations will receive an email communication alerting them of the cancellation. Event cancellations can also be found online through WZOZ 103.1 (http://wzozfm.com/closings/). A refund of 75% of the registration fee will be refunded via check to the organization. NOTE: refunds can take up to six weeks to process.
Registration fees will not be refunded or credited toward any future events for no-shows.
