Students who are returning to Oneonta and have not yet earned a degree
from Oneonta will need to apply for Readmission through
the Academic Advisement Center. You may download a copy of the readmission application.
If you have attended or are attending another institution, you must
submit all transcripts. If you are currently enrolled in
courses at another institution, a decision will be made once
your grades are in for that semester.
*Note: Students who attend institutions that follow tri semester or
quarter semester systems should call this office to determine
the number of credits needed to equal 12 s.h.
Students who have been academically dismissed, must be out of attendance for
one full year and complete at least 12 semester hours* (s.h.) of
academic course work at another institution with a GPA of 2.50
before they are eligible for readmission. Receipt of all
transcripts is required for a decision.

Readmission for Fall Semester- postmarked before 12:00 p.m.,
July 1
Readmission for Spring Semester– postmarked before 12:00 p.m.,
Nov. 1
Readmission for Summer Semester– postmarked before 12:00 p.m.,
May 1
Students who have previously attended Oneonta, and have earned a degree at Oneonta, must apply through Admissions as a transfer student. When corresponding with Admissions, be
sure to mention that you have previously graduated from Oneonta.
