The Religious Studies minor introduces students to an interdisciplinary
approach to the phenomenon of religion. The minor is designed to provide a
comparative perspective on world religions, an opportunity to study special
topics in religion and to develop an appreciation of both the origins and
contemporary expressions of different religions. This minor will appeal to
students in the humanities and social sciences as well as students in other
disciplines who want to deepen their understanding to the role of religion
in contemporary life. For further information, contact the Religious
Studies office (Fitzelle Hall room 418, phone 436-3512).
