Transfer Scholarships

Transfer students entering the College at Oneonta with an Associates Degree from a two-year college are eligible for transfer scholarships. For serious consideration for a scholarship, it is important to file the application for admission as early in the sophomore year as possible. The first awards are made in late February early March. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be filed as soon after January 1 as possible.

Every qualified transfer applicant is considered for a scholarship. The only application needed to apply for a scholarship is the application for admission, and, in the case of financial need as a criterion, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There is not a separate application to apply for scholarships.
