Freshman Admissions Counselor

Hi, my name is Anna. I grew up in Utica, New York. I am an Oneonta Alumnus, and now work here as an Admissions Counselor. I work with prospective freshmen, recruiting and reviewing students from Suffolk and Oneida County. I enjoy meeting high school students and their families and assisting them with the entire college search process. During my time as a student at Oneonta I was very active on campus. I majored in Mass Communications with a production track. I interned with News 12 Long Island, which gave me valuable knowledge and experience in that particular field. I was a member
of
Mask and Hammer, the student theatre club on campus and served on its
e-board as secretary and vice president. I was fortunate to work
on many shows, as an actress, props manager, and stage manager. I also
helped bring changes and creative ideas to the club, which helped, make
it what it is today. I was also an
Academic Team Member (ATM) in
Tobey Hall, a Freshmen Building. I loved working with freshmen,
helping them in their academic choices. The sense of community in
the building made living there a new experience everyday. |
