Undergraduate Student Travel for Excellence Fund
Through generous gifts from Caroline (class of 1967) and David D’Antonio to the College at Oneonta Foundation, a total of $45,000 has been made available to assist undergraduate students with expenses incurred for travel to professional meetings and conferences. A total of $15,000 has been allocated for each of three rounds of applications (spring/summer 2012, fall 2012, and spring/summer 2013). Both full- and part-time undergraduate students in any academic discipline are eligible to apply for and receive travel awards. Preference will be given to students presenting research or creative activity projects conducted with (a) faculty mentor(s), but this is not a requirement. However, applications do require an endorsement from a faculty member (see below). Students may apply for up to $750.
The deadline to request funding for travel between the period of February 1 and August 31, 2013 has now passed.
Should all funds available in this round ($15,000) not be awarded, applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis after the January 25 deadline, and awards will be made until the funding is depleted.
