Tim is a long-time area resident and holds a master's degree in business & policy studies. He had been the CECD Associate Director 2005-2008. Prior to that he was managing editor of a weekly newspaper and coordinator for a non-profit coalition. Tim completed Leadership Otsego in 2005 and has since directed this flagship program.
Barry P. Warren, Director Emeritus
Barry holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and has completed the Economic Development Institute sponsored by the International Economic Development Council. Barry directed the Center since its founding in 1990. He now oversees the CECD as the Associate Vice-President for Advancement in the SUNY Oneonta Division of College Advancement.
Liz Speziale, Manager of Office Operations (CECD & GDO)
Liz joined the College at Oneonta in 2008. She works with the Center for Economic and Community
Development and Grants
Development Office (GDO) to prepare and implement major projects, surveys, and
events. This includes design, editing, and publication layout for
distribution materials, as well as managing databases and office accounts.
Interns and Work-study Students, Assistants
We encourage students and faculty contact the CECD to arrange for internships or work-study opportunities. Projects have typically drawn on students from the following academic areas: political science, sociology, geography, and business & economics.
