Tim Hayes
Director

Tim holds a master's degree in business & policy studies with coursework in public policy, leadership and marketing. His capstone project was a study of economic development policy evaluation in New York State (Empire Zones). Tim completed Leadership Otsego in 2005 and has since directed this flagship program. He serves on the awards committee for the University Economic Development Association (2010-present).

Barry P. Warren
Director Emeritus

Barry holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and has completed the Economic Development Institute sponsored by the International Economic Development Council. Barry directed the Center since its founding in 1990. He now oversees the CECD as the Associate Vice-President for Development in the SUNY Oneonta Division of College Advancement.

Anne Winchester
Assistant

Anne works with the Center for Economic and Community Development and the Grants Development Office (GDO) on major projects, surveys, publications and events.

Students & Faculty

We encourage students and faculty contact the CECD to arrange for internships or scholarly opportunities. Projects have drawn from the following academic areas: political science, sociology, geography, and business & economics.
