Directory Information

Directory information for SUNY Oneonta Faculty and Staff is available as follows:

• Directory Web Search – This online tool, which is the most accurate and up-to-date location for directory information, can be accessed from any Oneonta webpage by using the search box in the upper-right corner, selecting the "Directory" radio button and entering at least the first three letters of the last name you are searching for.

• NameConnector - Speak the name and get connected! NameConnector is always available by dialing our main campus number 436-3500 (or “0” if on-campus). This system receives nightly updates from our college directory database, is easy to use, and handles hundreds of calls every day.

• Electronic PDF document – Produced at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters, this document should be saved locally on your computer and used when the web search tool and/or NameConnector systems do not meet your directory needs. Please keep in mind that this document is not updated until the beginning of the next semester and therefore is only as accurate as the date it was produced (October 2011).

• Printed Directory – Produced only in the beginning of the Fall semester, this paper copy has traditionally been delivered to every employee.

How you can help insure that your directory information is accurate:

• Use the web search tool and lookup your own directory information. Corrections to your listing are adjusted by your department secretary.

• Pick up a phone and dial “0” if on-campus or “436-3500” when off-campus and speak your own name (both your legal name and any nickname you may go by) to make sure that our system can handle proper pronunciation. Please report any issues getting connected, via NameConnector, to yourself and/or mispronunciations of your name by the system to telecomm@oneonta.edu.
