Caller ID allows you to view the phone number of an incoming call before you answer the phone.  Although Telecommunications provides the Caller ID service, it is the students responsibility to provide the Caller ID device.

Students must sign up for the Caller ID service in person at the Telecommunications Office, which is located on the 2nd floor of the Netzer Administration Building, room 236.  We are open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Students who sign up for Caller ID will be charged $3.00 per month until the service is terminated by the student.  Service termination may only be accomplished by either

1. Visiting the Telecommunications office in person and filling out a service termination request.

2. Sending an e-mail requesting service termination from either your oneonta.edu e-mail address or your preferred e-mail address on record with the Registrar's Office.

3. Sending a letter containing your name and signature via the US postal service requesting service termination to

• Note:  Caller ID service is automatically terminated at the end of the academic year, which occurs in May.  Students must sign up for Caller ID each year when they return for a new academic year.
