DIRECTOR OF OFFICE OF MULTICULTURAL STUDENT AFFAIRS
(STAFF ASSOCIATE)

The SUNY College at Oneonta is seeking a student affairs professional to provide leadership in developing and implementing programs and services for racial and ethnic minority students and working toward greater inclusion and equity for all students.

Job duties include: Serving as an advocate and resource for racial and ethnic minority students; supervising the AALANA mentor program; collaborating with other departments in developing and implementing recruitment and retention strategies for underrepresented students; addressing issues of equity and inclusion across the broadest definition of diversity; providing training and outreach.

Required Qualifications: Master’s degree; 5 years of professional experience.

Preferred: Experience working with racial and ethnic minority students in higher education; administrative experience in higher education; experience with conducting training and outreach on the broadest definition of diversity.
