PHONATHON MANAGER
(SENIOR STAFF ASSISTANT)

The SUNY College at Oneonta’s Division of College Advancement is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Phonathon Manager. The Phonathon Manager is an integral member of the Advancement team who is responsible for overseeing an effective and dynamic phonathon program as a strategic part of the College’s highly successful annual giving program.

Duties: Provide oversight and expertise to the Phonathon Program which will increase the level of alumni support to the College at Oneonta Alumni Annual Fund. The Phonathon Manger will be accountable for the analysis, reporting, and overall operations of the phonathon program with special emphasis placed on recruiting, hiring, training, supervision, and retention of the student calling staff.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; minimum of two years experience in fundraising, telemarketing, or training and development; strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated PC software skills in Word, Excel, email, internet, and database familiarity; ability and willingness to maintain a non-traditional schedule.

Preferred: Working knowledge of Campus Call or a similar automated calling system; supervisory experience, including performance evaluation, motivation, compensation, and administration; demonstrated data analysis and reporting skills.
