DIVISION OF EDUCATION
ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR – EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY

The SUNY College at Oneonta invites applications for a tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor in Educational Psychology beginning August 2008. This is a continuing position with an initial appointment of two (2) years. The position is housed in the Division of Education, in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling. The expectations include instruction, research, student advisement, college service, and continuing professional development. The College at Oneonta enrolls more than 5,800 students with 475 faculty and offers 69 undergraduate majors and nine graduate programs. The student to faculty ratio is approximately 17:1. Duties: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in development, learning, special education.

Qualifications Required: Doctorate in Educational Psychology or closely related field (ABD will be considered). Completion of degree required by the end of the first year of teaching; experience in teaching or research in K-12 level schools.

Preferred: College teaching experience; research record.
