COVID-19 Information
What to do if you test positive for COVID-19
Employees, if you test positive for COVID-19, please follow the CDC’s guidelines for protection from respiratory viruses, including COVID-19, flu, and RSV.
The CDC no longer requires isolation, but employees should be respectful of others they work with in the workplace and follow the CDC’s recommendations:
- Stay home and away from others until at least 24 hours after both your symptoms are getting better overall, and you have not had a fever (without the use of fever-reducing medication)
- Take added precautions over the next five days after time at home, away from others, is over:
- Practicing good hygiene
- Wearing a mask
- Physical distancing
- Testing when you will be around other people, especially indoors
- Staying up to date with vaccinations
Individuals who are absent from work due to illness, including COVID-19, must charge leave accruals.
