DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY & BIOCHEMISTRY (Chemistry) The SUNY College at Oneonta invites applications for temporary positions at the rank of adjunct in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. The start date is August 2009 or later, with initial appointment for one semester. Additional appointments in subsequent semesters will be based on performance. The College at Oneonta enrolls more than 5,800 students with 475 faculty and offers 69 undergraduate majors and 9 graduate programs. The student to faculty ratio is approximately 17:1. Duties: Teach chemistry or biochemistry lectures and/or laboratories, normally at the introductory level. Minimum Qualification: B.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, engineering or a closely related field at time of appointment. Preferred: Teaching experience in the discipline in which employment is sought.
