The Finance Area is comprised of Accounting, Accounts Payable, Budget, Institutional Information & Research and Internal Control.  During the 2006-07 year, Finance Area staff provided leadership in a number of ground-breaking budgetary, computer systems, internal control and institutional information initiatives.   The details of these accomplishments are detailed in the departmental annual reports.  In addition to these initiatives, the Finance Area successfully budgeted, accounted for, monitored and spent over $72 million in budgeted
operations funds, and provided critical institutional information to College decision-makers, account and program managers, SUNY administrators and other public entities who serve the College's academic and service activities.  The Finance Area's stewardship, institutional information and accountability services support the Comprehensive College Plan goals of Academic Quality, Enrollment Management, Diversity and Inclusion, and Quality of Life.
