This 3 hour session will provide participants with an introduction to the Adobe Photoshop graphic editing application, with emphasis on the environment, tools and terminology. Prerequisites: Participants should have a good understanding of browsing the internet, and basic computer use. Although this class is PC based, those using the Apple/Mac platform are encouraged to participate. The course is designed around the application, and the platform specific differences are negligible. |

This 3 hour session continues the introduction to the Adobe Photoshop graphic editing application, by manipulating images using the utility tools learned in the Level 1.1 session . Prerequisites: Participants should have a good understanding of browsing the internet, and basic computer use. Although this class is PC based, those using the Apple/Mac platform are encouraged to participate. This more advanced section will help participants to learn to mask and clip layers, create and edit vector paths, and mask images with a path. Prerequisites: Participants should have a good understanding of browsing the internet, and basic computer use. They should also have completed Photoshop CS2 Level 1.1 and Level 1.2 or have equivalent skills. Although this class is PC based, those using the Apple/Mac platform are encouraged to participate. The course is designed around the application, and the platform specific differences are negligible. |
