The Department of Sociology offers a human services concentration within the sociology major for those who wish to pursue employment in human services and as preparation for degree programs leading to the Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.  The human services concentration is a preprofessional degree that is highly interdisciplinary and more specialized.  The program require the completion of an internship.  Human Services professionals may apply for a waiver from this requirement.
