Center for Social Science Research Student Paper Competition
Any paper written by a SUNY Oneonta student is eligible, as long as it addresses some aspect of the competition theme, “Social Entrepreneurship: Creative Responses to Social Problems.” The committee encourages students to submit papers on that discuss, evaluate, or propose innovative solutions to recurring social challenges. Papers may cover topics or issues like sustainability, poverty, environmental change, peace and conflict, education, politics, history, architecture, religion, identity, diversity, etc. Awards will be given in two categories: Long essay (6-15 pgs, $100) and Short essay (up to 5 pgs, $50).

8/28/2014 - Hong Kong Trip a Huge Success!
This past summer several students from SUNY Oneonta visited Hong Kong with Professors Leung (Sociology) and Hendley (History). The course was SOCL/GEOG/ANTH 294 Cities and Architecture: Hong Kong.
