Traditional Sociology - Liberal Arts Major

Sociology Minor

The Department of Sociology offers both a major and a minor as part of a traditional liberal arts education.  A liberal arts degree is perfect for those seeking a general degree program with a broad span of knowledge.  Not only is a liberal arts degree flexible in its pursuit of general sociological knowledge, but it offers a wide array of choices for the future employment and study.

The liberal arts program can be enhanced through student participation in research and internship opportunities.
