Colleagues,

The University Faculty Senate Committee on Professional Behavior, Ethical Conduct and Institutional Integrity is an Ad Hoc Committee whose charge is to study and make recommendations regarding issues of ethics as they relate to faculty, students, administrators and other personnel in SUNY and higher education. The Committee will not serve as a disciplinary body nor will it take part in judicial proceedings.

As part of its study, the committee is asking your help in the distribution of a survey on Ethical Concerns and Policies in SUNY.  The committee will gather the opinions and knowledge of a broad array of faculty and staff serving in both academic and administrative roles.  We are very pleased to have the participation of representatives from all the four-year and two-year SUNY schools.

Please send the link below to as many faculty and administrative staff as possible on your campus. Be sure to tell your colleagues that although they're responding from their school computers, the survey has been configured to record data anonymously.  Since we cannot track who has responded, we will send a reminder email to all, asking again for response to the survey.

SUNY's growth and sense of identity and community may be enhanced by effective analysis of these data.  We hope you will be part of this process.

Please send the link below to your academic and administrative colleagues and ask them to respond within one week of the time you send the link.

Thank you,
