The purpose of the Psychology Club is to inform,
involve, and enhance the lives of psychology majors at Oneonta State.
INFORM: The Psychology Club serves as an information
outlet for students. Many
individuals who attend meetings are seeking internships, teaching assistantships,
research opportunities, and information about graduate school. Throughout
the semester representatives from Academic Advisement and Continuing
Education offices conduct interactive discussions providing students
with valuable information about the psychology course curricula.
INVOLVE: The Psychology Club is a wonderful addition
to a resume. The
Psyc Club is very active. We organize events within our club
and with other clubs on campus. In addition, the Psyc Club works
with the community through service projects.
ENHANCE: The Psyc Club offers the opportunity for students
to meet others with similar interests and aspirations. The Psyc
Club is successful due to interaction between the Psychology
faculty and students. Many students find the support of the faculty
and warm relationships that form key to enhancing the "Oneonta Experience."
PSYCHOLOGY
CLUB ACTIVITIES: Throughout the year, the Psyc Club sponsors many activities, such as the following:
