Wang Memorial Scholarships awarding academic excellence were established in honor of Dr. Charles T. P. Wang's memory. Scholarships maybe awarded to students beginning their freshman studies in Physics in the coming academic year and to current students. Selection is based solely upon scholarly achievements. Applications for the Wang Memorial Physics Scholarships are available through the Department office. Other opportunities exist for students to assist in campus laboratory and/or research activities if their interests coincide with current faculty efforts. Some of our students have also obtained prestigious summer internships at other universities and at national labs to further enhance their undergraduate preparations. A significant advantage of our program is the availability of dedicated faculty to provide individualized attention to student needs.
