SPORTS MANAGEMENT MINOR |

This minor is open to all undergraduates and consists of courses related to the management of athletics. Consult with Physical Education and Business faculty members for additional information and suggested sequences.
Students planning to complete requirements for this minor should declare their intentions at an early point to facilitate advisement. Contact Al Sosa, Minor Coordinator, Chase PE Rm. 200, 436-3595. Many of the courses needed for these minors have prerequisites (shown in italics). Please refer to the College Catalog for specifics. College rules pertaining to curriculum majors also apply to curriculum minors (cumulative GPA of a 2.00 in courses applied toward minor; no Pass/Fail option grading in courses applied toward minor, residence requirement; etc.)

Students from majors outside of the Division of Economics and
Business are not permitted to earn more than 30 credit hours from the
Division of Economics and Business. Therefore, students enrolling in this
minor should exercise great caution in combining this minor with certain
majors (i.e., Music Industry, Food Service and Restaurant Administration,
and Computer Science/Business Option) or minors (Business Communication,
Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Business or International
Business).
