Students Matriculated Prior to Fall 2009
Current Music Department Internship Requirements

Music Industry Interns who matriculated prior to Fall 2009 are required to earn a minimum of 4 semester hours of internship credit.

These credits may be earned at more than one internship site and do not have to be earned all in one term.

A student may also register for more than 4 semester hours of internship credit.  The additional credit hours will require successful completion of additional assignments.

Music Department requirements include:

  1. Completion of 400 contact hours of approved internship,
  2. Fulfillment of the Music Department Internship Learning Objectives and,
  3. Successful completion of all assignments to fulfill the academic component of the internship

Change Internship Credit Requirement

When you matriculated into the Music Industry program, the major required a 4 s.h. internship.  You have the choice to continue your program with that requirement, or to opt into the new requirements that have reduced the internship credits from 4 s.h. to 3 s.h.
