Name ~ Dr. Sasha Matson, Lecturer

Sasha Matson studied art history and music at the University of California at Santa Cruz, and graduated with College and Major Honors. He studied composition at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, working with noted composers John Adams and Elinor Armor. He founded the Steel Chords Ensemble, which commissioned and presented contemporary music in the San Francisco region.

The music industry program at Oneonta State College has been viewed as one of the best in the nation since its creation. Its very experienced professors and the contacts they have with the industry's heavy hitters have given aspiring students opportunities of a lifetime.
