7^th Annual CCSCNE Conference Trip Report

This year, six students, Dr. Don Allison, and Dr. Jim Ryder, from our department, participated in the Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges Northeastern regional conference (CCSCNE 2006). It was held at College of the Holy Cross, on April 21 & 22, in Worcester, MA.

The SUNY College at Oneonta's Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics Department entered one programming team in the programming contest. The questions were tough and there were many teams competing. Our team did well. The conference was very enjoyable amd rewarding for all who attended. We look forward to participating again next year when the CCSCNE 2007 will be held in April 2007 at Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, NY.
