The College Writing Center Office is located in 225 Alumni Hall. The Center offers instruction in writing as follows:

Comp 090 Standard Writing Practice: an institutional-credit* five-week mini-course providing individual tutorial assistance in writing with no limit to the number of units taken by any student.

Comp 095 Introduction to College Writing: for students who need to prepare for college level writing, a full-semester institutional-credit* classroom or online course providing group and individual instruction in writing.

Individual One-time Tutoring Appointments provide students with individual assistance on writing projects (including resumes, application essays and letters), and, with permission of the instructor, papers for courses. Because of the high demand for these appointments, students needing a one-time appointment will need to call 436-3010 to make an appointment.  Please expect that you will not get an appointment for the same day that you call.

 *Institutional credit does not count toward graduation requirements.
