Health Insurance

All Study Abroad participants are required to have the SUNY HTH Worldwide Health Insurance (or comparable insurance) at all times while on a study abroad program.  Frontier Medex (repatriation) insurance is mandatory with no alternate insurance accepted. The SUNY HTH plan and Frontier Medex plans are comprehensive and provide outstanding coverage while abroad.

Students seeking waivers for the SUNY-HTH Worldwide Health insurance must provide evidence of continued enrollment in a comparable health insurance program to the Study Abroad Coordinator one full month prior to departure (see directions on Overseas Academic Programs application).
