There is strength in numbers. At SUNY College at Oneonta, there is a strong commitment to
academic excellence, strong ties to community, and a strong work ethic.
We are very proud of our 100 international students: 37% have a 3.2 GPA or greater, 29% are
receiving scholarships of some type, 38% have on-campus employment, and 25% volunteer for community service.
The campus culture is an inviting atmosphere, making it easy to establish friendships on campus
and connections in the Oneonta area and beyond. International students are encouraged to actively
participate in clubs, organizations, on and off campus events, academic and professional endeavors,
which strengthen their academic experience.
