Dr. Karen Joest (CFS) to help with AAUW Project.
Congratulations to a team of faculty members and students on being awarded a grant of $4,200 through the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Campus Action Project. The grant will be used to create a multi-media project about issues and barriers faced by low-income and minority women attending a rural four-year college. The SUNY Oneonta CAP team consists of ten minority and low-income students supported by several members of the College's faculty and staff. Karen Joest, Human Ecology, will serve as project advisor with Caridad Souza-Watkins, Africana and Latino Studies, serving as co-project advisor. (more)
