Programs are accredited by The American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences and the undergraduate Dietetics program has developmental accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE). There are approximately 400 students majoring in Human Ecology programs. Internship and study abroad opportunities abound
The number of students enrolled in classes in the Department ranges from 12 - 50. Twenty-five students per class is the average.
There are 11 full-time and several adjunct faculty. All classes are taught by faculty and all majors have an assigned faculty member as their academic advisor.
