The Environmental Activism Club is tasked with enhancing awareness within the campus and surrounding Oneonta community about environmental issues that affect all living beings on Earth. These range from fossil fuel extraction (fracking, tar sands), climate change, deforestation, waste, etc. In addition, we organize actions on campus and in the local community aimed at mitigating humanity's effect on the natural world. We also take part in national actions while building an activist network with allies and other organizations across the state and country.
The Environmental Science Club offers resources, encourages, and supports students interested in the Environmental Sciences. The club promotes and organizes intellectual and social exchanges amongst students interested in the Environmental Sciences.
