Survival Korean - Restaurant: a website with basic words and phrases in Korean that one would need for eating in a restaurant. The site also has links to informative pages about Korean food, with recipes!

ASL Fingerspelling: A nifty website with an ASL fingerspelling dictionary (animated for letters that need it), a converter that "fingerspells" any word you put in, and an interactive quiz on fingerspelling.Teaching Foreign Languages K-12: A Library of Classroom Practices [http://www.learner.org/resources/series185.html]: A website with links to videotaped discussions of FL teaching standards and assessment strategies, as well as classroom sessions in which experienced foreign language teachers demonstrate various classroom techniques and topics in foreign language teaching. Includes videotaped lessons in many languages at different levels, including French, German, Japanese, Spanish and Chinese.
Surrealist Writers [http://alangullette.com/lit/surreal/francais.htm]: According to Choice: A convenient overview of surrealism, especially the first waves of the 1920s and early 1930s, this site will pique the curiosity of college-bound high school and lower-division undergraduate students and hence is a good teaching tool. Available in English as well as French...
¡Conjuguemos! [http://conjuguemos.com/spanish/index.html]: A self-timed, self-grading program for language students of all levels and ages. You can select the verbs you want to practice, the amount of time you want the exercise to last, and you can print a grade verification sheet at the end of your practice.
The Deaf Resource Library [http://www.deaflibrary.org/asl.html]: A collection of information, Internet links and other resources having to do with American Sign Language, other sign languages, and the linguistics of ASL.
Optimnem [http://www.optimnem.co.uk/resources.htm]: Online Language Lessons! You would pay for the actual lessons, but many of the resources are free-- try the worksheets in French, English, German, Math (!) and Spanish!

This is a free, scaled-down version of a program available for sale. Explore the world of verb conjugations!
The WebCast Pilot [http://www.webcastpilot.com/]: A collection of links to radio and tv webcasts from all over the world. You can search for webcasts from particular countries or in particular languages (though beware it may just be the Voice of America broadcasting in that language). A great way to work on aural comprehension and to broaden cultural awareness!
ClicNet [http://clicnet.swarthmore.edu]: A clearing-house of French-related websites, with a search engine and sites arranged by topics including literature, teaching/learning, dictionaries, news/radio/t.v., society, art, and ordinary life. Also maintains content pages including games and jokes!
