Dr. Vredenburg joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor in 2004 after receiving her PhD in Humanities from Florida State University. She specializes in Greco-Roman literature and classical literary themes in contemporary literature. As a graduate student, Dr. Vredenburg taught at Florida State University in both the Classics and Humanities departments, and for the FSU Summer Program in Greece, and received the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award in 2001. She also taught at Tallahassee Community College in Florida and Ulster and Sullivan Community Colleges in New York. Dr. Vredenburg teaches courses on composition, Greco-Roman literature, mythology, critical theory, and the Bible. |
