Our faculty and staff are committed to your academic success, but that success demands your individual efforts and dedication. You must commit yourself to the primary focus of our campus community through your attentive participation in classes, labs, studios, and the wide variety of our academic program offerings.
 
  • Responsible for your own behavior.
You must commit yourself to behaving with civility, respecting others and their differences in an environment which embraces diversity, and respecting our college, its reputation and physical surroundings. You must also fulfill the duties of multiple citizenships-- as a member of our campus, the city of Oneonta, and indeed the world community.
 
  • Responsible for enhancing your personal development.
Your education should develop your ability to function as a contributing member of our society. Countless opportunities for your participation in student life activities, athletics, and leadership training will develop skills to serve you well for the rest of your life. Service to others is one of the hallmarks of Oneonta- enhance your own growth through service to others.
