Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS):
This is a hybrid program with most classes available as on-line class work.
Internship continues to be offered in person.
- At least 21 s.h. of approved
courses beyond the Master's degree including:
||Teaching ProSocial Skills to Youth
||Brief Approaches to Counseling
||Consultation in Educational Settings
||Internship in School Counseling*
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Students must complete all program requirements
within six years and complete a minimum of 12 s.h. in residence.
*CNED 695, with departmental approval, may be
replaced by alternative course work for students who have completed a
minimum of 2 years full-time employment as a school counselor.

Graduate Catalog will apply to students enrolled in this program.
