In The Spotlight
Dr. Todd Ellis

Dr. Todd Ellis is our long-sought third meteorologist. A product of the Pennsylvania State University with two Bachelor’s degrees (Physics and Meteorology), he earned his M.S. and Ph.D. at Colorado State University in 2005 and 2008. At CSU he studied the effects on precipitation of changes in clouds and atmospheric radiative transfer, i.e., climate change by global warming. He has been a residential assistant and undergraduate instructor at Penn State, a teaching assistant at CSU, and an outreach educator in Colorado. He is also a rabid Penn State Nittany Lions fan and sports an impressive collection of outrageously ugly ties.
