Past Center Events

Walk for Literacy: On November 15th, 2009, thanks to 200 walkers, $1200 was raised for the Ninash foundation to help spread literacy throughout the world

Conference on Volunteerism and Social Responsibility:  On November 7, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Morris Conference Center, over 100 students and community members joined us for our 8th annual conference. The day filled with "fun shops" was a great success and enjoyable for all who attended! Click for a poster!

Kidney Walk: October 31, 2009. Over $9000 was raised to help patients of Kidney disease and recipient of Kidney Transplants.

Community Clean Up Day: October 10th 2009. Students joined together to walk the streets of Oneonta, picking up and disposing of garbage.

Blood Drives: Every month CSRC holds a blood drive at Hunt Union. Recently we have exceeded our pint quota multiple times, resulting in Red Cross scholarships for our students. Occasionally CSRC will collaborate with a campus group to sponsor more blood drives.

Into the Streets: Our annual campus and community wide day of service is always a huge success. Last year there were over 20 teams of students participating in a day of service for local nonprofits. Keep an eye out in the spring for next years event!
